INC 5000

In 2024, we continued to empower our members to reach their addiction recovery goals.

We focused on facilitating connection

Engagement and peer connection are correlated with increased retention in care and can also promote mental and emotional well-being. In 2024, we supported connection in two key ways.

Shared Medical Appointments

Group follow-up visits combine a clinical follow-up with a provider, tools and support from a member of the behavioral health team, and peer connection with other Workit Health members.
  • Members attended 55,770 Shared Medical Appointments in 2024.

Private In-App Forum

Members in our alcohol use disorder programs have access to private, in-app forums where they can share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs for peer support, hosted by our Community Manager.
  • 54% of active AUD members are using Forum (including lurkers).

Published outcomes and presented research

Members of Workit Labs, the research arm of Workit Health, enhanced our reputation for credibility and clinical rigor with presentations at conferences and peer-reviewed articles in academic journals.

Read more about Suboxone risks and concerns

Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is indicated for the treatment of opioid dependence in adults. Suboxone should not be taken by individuals who have been shown to be hypersensitive to buprenorphine or naloxone as serious adverse reactions, including anaphylactic shock, have been reported. Taking Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) with other opioid medicines, benzodiazepines, alcohol, or other central nervous system depressants can cause breathing problems that can lead to coma and death. Other side effects may include headaches, nausea, vomiting, constipation, insomnia, pain, increased sweating, sleepiness, dizziness, coordination problems, physical dependence or abuse, and liver problems. For more information about Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) see Suboxone.com, the full Prescribing Information, and Medication Guide, or talk to your healthcare provider. You are encouraged to report negative side effects of drugs to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch or call 1-800-FDA-1088.
