100% virtual Hepatitis C treatment

Recover from Hep C with clinical treatment while you’re in Workit Health’s virtual opioid treatment program.

Hepatitis C is treatable with 100% virtual clinical care.

The CDC estimates that 1% of Americans, or 2.4 million people, are living with hepatitis C. The opioid epidemic has led to a rise in hepatitis C, with intravenous drug users at greatest risk.

It’s estimated that 40% of people who have hepatitis C may not know it. In Workit Health’s opioid use disorder program, our clinical teams can help you understand your risk and order testing if necessary.

For some people, hepatitis C is a short-term illness. But for more than half the people infected, hepatitis C becomes a long-term and chronic infection.

Although you may not feel sick, hepatitis C can result in serious health issues like cirrhosis and liver cancer. New oral treatments offer a more than 95% cure rate, meaning that you can stop hepatitis C and start feeling your best.

Treatments vary based on medical history and insurance coverage, but include Mavyret (glecaprevir/pibrentasvir), Epclusa (sofosbuvir/velpatasvir), and Harvoni (ledipasvir/sofosbuvir). Each medication is an oral tablet that can be e-prescribed and filled at your local pharmacy.

Right now, Workit Health’s hepatitis C treatment is available for members of our medically-assisted treatment programs for opioid and alcohol use disorders.

Tell your Workit clinician at your first appointment that you’re interested in receiving hepatitis C treatment.
