Workit Health was born from our founders’ real-world experiences with addiction treatment.

Robin McIntosh and Lisa McLaughlin were tired of watching friends fall through the cracks of traditional addiction care. Both women were in long-term addiction recovery themselves. Digital health was booming, but addiction treatment hadn’t changed since the 1930s. Getting help for substance use shouldn’t require endless Google searches and phone calls, battles with insurance companies, or months of waiting for an open bed.

Why waitlist? Start online treatment with Workit Health today.

It is a lot easier to get drugs or alcohol than it is to get addiction treatment.

Robin and Lisa are some of the the lucky few who found long-term recovery from addiction in America. An estimated 1 in 10 people don’t receive treatment for addiction. They saw friends drop out of judgmental recovery programs and lost friends to overdose.

For too long substance use disorder treatment has been one-size-fits all. Not everyone can leave their job or loved ones for a thirty day rehab program, or afford the out-of-pocket costs. Many treatment programs fail to bring the latest research into their treatment offerings.

Robin and Lisa knew people struggling with addiction deserve better. They’ve brought clinicians, advocates, and technologists together to build a better type of addiction care.

Enter Workit Health. Expert addiction care at your fingertips.
